In a recent article on from Dr. Cate Shanahan, Director of the Los Angeles Lakers’ Performance, Recovery & Orthogenesis (PRO) Nutrition Program, talks about bone health problems and seeing more and more athletes get injured on the court. Shanahan says, "From my perspective, there’s an epidemic of bone health problems in pro sports because guys are drinking soda instead of milk – they’re just not getting enough calcium."
