Women's Tennis Association published an article that lends insight into the nutritional steps tennis stars playing in the WTA tour take, including what they eat and drink before, during and after their matches. For post-match recovery, fitness trainer Jean-Pierre Bruyere recommends lowfat chocolate milk for its protein that aids in muscle recovery, also saying that many players preferred chocolate milk over traditional sports drinks. Additionally, Jean-Pierre mentions that when he worked with women’s tennis player Victoria Azarenka, chocolate milk became a go-to recovery beverage for her after training sessions.
